Building upon the true originality of the home with this mid-century renovation creates a natural flow throughout the space. The essence of the retro flair of the pairings with the walnut highlights, black hardware and unique lighting choices makes this a one of a kind renovation. The choice to have the laundry hidden in the kitchen was due to where the laundry was originally situated, so they built upon this and took a nod from a European style kitchen and used the cabinetry to hid the bulky appliances, which makes the design seamless. Interior Designer Kara Gibson-Guyitt with Blue Alice Space + Design gets to know her clients on building communication and trust to ensure the homeowners visions will be expertly designed and professionally executed. She accomplished just that with this renovation with the help from Norelco Designer Jamie Stashyn. The homeowners are continuing to build upon this renovation throughout their home, while not taking away, but building upon the true originality of the home.
