Cabinetry Data Entry & Programming

Pay: CA$28.00 - CA$32.00 per hour

Norelco Cabinets is seeking an experienced Cabinetry Data Entry & Programmer to support our Hawaii Division. This position is responsible for reviewing approved cabinetry drawings, entering project information into company systems, programming cabinetry projects for manufacturing, and ensuring all production information is accurate, complete, and ready for release.The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting project execution by translating approved designs into manufacturing-ready data while maintaining accuracy throughout the production process.This is a highly technical role requiring direct experience in the cabinetry industry. Applicants must have previous cabinetry programming and data entry experience. Candidates without cabinetry experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Cabinetry Data Entry

  • Enter and maintain project information within cabinetry manufacturing software.
  • Input cabinet specifications, materials, hardware, finishes, and project details accurately.
  • Generate production-ready information based on approved drawings and specifications.\\
  • Review programmed projects for accuracy before release to production
  • Maintain project records and update information as revisions are issued. 
  • Ensure all project data aligns with approved shop drawings and specificaitions
  • Manage project ducumentation and revision control

Drawing Review and Project Support

  • Review approved shop drawings and specificiations for completeness
  • Interpret architectural, design, and cabientry drawings
  • Communicate discrepancies, missing information, or concerns to the apporpriate team members
  • Work closely with design, project management, purchasing, and production teams to ensure project accuracy

Quality Control

  • Perform detailed reviews of project information prior to production release
  • Ensure accuracy of dimentions, materials, finishes, and hardware
  • Minimize manufacturing errors through proactive verification and problem-solving
  • Maintain consistency with company standards and procedures

Continuous Improvemnet

  • Assist in developing and maintaining programming and data entry standards
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Support department initiatives focused on quality and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the cabinetry industry
  • Minimum 1 year of cabinetry programming and/or cabinetry data entry experience
  • Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods and manufacturing processes
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting cabinetry shop drawings
  • Experience working with cabinetry manufacturing software
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Technical Skills Experience with one or more of the following:

  • inSight Technologies
  • Cabinet Vision
  • Microvellum
  • Mozaik
  • 2020 Design
  • Similar cabinetry engineering or manufacturing software

Proficiency with:

  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft Teams
  • ERP or manufacturing software systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with custom residential cabinetry
  • Experience with multi-family or hospitality projects
  • Knowledge of manufacturing workflows and production processes
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Understanding of material optimization and production efficiencies
  • Experience programming CNC manufacturing equipment

Important NoteDirect cabinetry industry experience is required.Applicants must have previous experience with cabinetry programming, cabinetry data entry, engineering, manufacturing, or production support within the cabinetry industry.

Candidates without cabinetry experience will not be considered. Experience in general administration, construction administration, or non-cabinetry data entry does not meet the requirements of this position.
