Pelletier's Tropical Paradise

A modern renovation infused with Asian inspired details characterized by materials of different species of wood, clean lines, complex simplicity and the copious use of natural elements with a nod to the original architecture from the 1950's. 

The pantry is framed with cedar slats and white painted trim between each slat.These individual slats were original to the home, which were then refinished and stained (by Norelco) to match the ceiling beams and island cabinetry, along with opening dimensions to be symmetrical with the island, which have solid sapele latus doors.

The matte moody 3/4" flat slab cabinetry in grey with blue undertones ties in with the landscape of this waterfront property without being cold, while adding a lot of saturation and depth with the pairing of the textured penny tiled backsplash.
