Born in Romania in the late 1980s, Alex Mihai moved to Calgary, Alberta in 2000 and has called it his home ever since. After completing high school, he founded Artisan Millwork, a finishing carpentry and custom cabinetry company. Over the years, Alex has had the pleasure of working on various projects ranging from custom homes to skyscrapers and everything in between. In 2012, he won a SAM award for the best renovation over a million dollars as a trade partner with Riverview Custom Homes in Calgary.

While working on the 56-story Bow Tower in downtown Calgary, Alex developed a keen interest in architectural design, which led him to join Norelco in the spring of 2021. Looking back, Alex can say with confidence that it was the best decision he has ever made. He feels extremely fortunate to have found a team that shares the same values as him. Throughout his career, his motto has always been “From design to installation, quality you can depend on.”

When he’s not working, Alex enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing golf, and watching the Liverpool FC football club.
