Sales and Design Consultant
Norelco Cabinets Ltd., a locally owned and operated cabinet manufacturing company since 1972 has an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Design Consultant. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team who will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales within our cabinetry division. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, an in-depth knowledge of cabinetry products, and the ability to understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions. They will work closely with clients to ensure their vision comes to life, from initial consultation to final purchase. The role demands a combination of sales expertise, product knowledge, strong interpersonal skills to exceed customer expectations, and a high degree of motivation to achieve sales goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with clients through direct communication, providing professional advice and customized cabinetry solutions tailored to their specific needs.
-Product Knowledge: Have and be proactive in continually gaining expert-level knowledge of all cabinetry products and design options, offering guidance on materials, styles, finishes, and customizations.
-Sales Process Management: Lead clients through the entire sales process, from initial consultation and product selection to final sale and delivery coordination, ensuring a seamless and exceptional client experience.
-Design Consultation: Collaborate with customers to assess their design requirements, suggest creative solutions, and offer design layouts or visualizations for kitchen, bathroom, and other cabinetry installations.
-Negotiation and Closing Sales: Confidently negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, and effectively close sales while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
-Follow-Up & Relationship Building: Provide excellent after-sales support, follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and foster long-term client relationships.
-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering, design and installation teams to ensure proper execution of projects and timely deliveries, as well as to resolve any issues that may arise.
-Sales Goals & Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the local sales division.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Strong customer service and communication skills
-Adept at problem solving
-Able to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency to meet customer timelines
-Detailed and highly organized
-Self-motivated to meet individual, team, and company sales targets
-Adaptable to changing process and strategies
-Identifies and pursues personal growth needs and learning opportunities
-Experience in commercial projects an asset
EXPERIENCE:
-Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales (cabinetry or related industry preferred)
-Knowledge of CRM Software (preferably PipeDrive)
-20/20 CAD experience as asset
-Ability to read and understand construction documents and blueprints
-Commitment to continued learning on products, technology, procedures and more.
OUR SALES AND DESIGN CONSULTANTS ARE SUPPORTED WITH:
-Full usage of our beautiful 5,000 sq ft showroom with Highway 97 frontage and scheduled showroom days to assist in building clientele
-60,000 sq ft fully custom manufacturing plant building cabinetry for any room in the house
-Available financing for clients
-Our in-house Marketing Manager works with you to create portfolios, photography, and award submissions of your projects
